It may or may not be a by-product of this selfie/ootd-loving generation but if you’re a sweet-toothed individual like me, then this place is definitely for you (or the kid in you haha!). 😀 True, I have been trying to eat healthily since like forever (lol!) but take me to any buffet restaurant and I’d gladly skip some of the meals just so I can have more room for desserts – cakes, in particular. Haha.
So, it was a bit of a letdown though not having a cake room but the museum features eight Instagrammable rooms and the confectionary adventure starts from the donut room, to the marshmallow, candy cane, ice cream, bubblegum, gummy bears, cotton candy forest and lastly, the cake pops room. Okaaaay fine, there are cake pops!!! But I want a CAKE! And cake pops are more like lollipops. And you don’t mess with Cassey Cakes when she wants CAKES!!! HAHAHA!!! Though I guess, Cake Pops make for better swings and photo-ops than actual cake figures. Lol.
Your museum pass (PHP 699) includes six free desserts (no donuts and gum though ) and make sure to be in comfy but equally stylish #ootd (lol!) since it’s a pseudo-playground too. It’s supposedly educational but there wasn’t much focus in the trivia part of the desserts. But they do give enough time for everyone to take pics from each and every colourful corner of each room and that’s what matters. Lol.
The Dessert Museum is located at the ground floor of S Maison Mall. 🙂
