If you remember, about two weeks ago, Henry ( a tropical depression) entered the country that resulted to early dismissals and suspensions even of work for some days. Since for both times the announcements were made when I was in the workplace already, my greatest benefit was that I got to workout more in the gym. (I know, as if I was already working out less 🙄 lol)
In times like these, it’s but natural to run to the nearest grocery and stock up on your rainy day essentials which is what my family did one weekend. But what happened after it is something that I did not expect. I suddenly got “addicted” to preparing different breakfasts and trying easy healthy meals. 😱
As indicated by that last emoji, friends who know me would be really surprised at this because they all know that while I do know and eat (as much as possible) healthy meals, I know nothing about cooking them. 😅 Also, when they see my different brekkies in the morning (with polls included even on which avocado toasts they prefer lol), they wonder how much time I’ve got in the morning when in fact, I’ve been taking frequent lunch naps at work now because of this addiction. 😝
I partially blame it to these fitness online magazines that I am currently subscribed to and this whole “meal prep” trend thing. Or maybe that, these are signs of #adulting and a real hard one. Uuuughhh. Haha! If you want to follow me along on this journey, you can check my stories in Instagram. Meanwhile, here are three rainy day looks getting mileage out of my booties. Enjoy! 😀
