It’s no secret that when Meghan Markle steps out, the whole world watches to check out her style. There’s just something about her ensemble choices that “revolutionizes” royal dressing and we’re all here for it. But since we all expect to see less appearance of the Duchess’ for a while postpartum, it’s good thing that we have the other Duchess’ fashion to look up to. They’re also regal and elegant for us ladylike wannabes.
Last month, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a polka dot midi dress and style experts were quick to point out the similarities of this dress with that of Princess Diana. At the same time, an opportunity came for me to work with Dear-Lover, so when I saw this similar-looking polka-dot buttondown dress in their roster of affordable dresses, I didn’t pass up on the chance. What I love this dress is that even if the sleeves are elbow-long rolled-up, it still works in warm weather because of the breathable cotton fabric. They’re easy to pair with flats too because of its maxi length and a thing that you don’t usually see in maxis – POCKETS! Royal-approved and perfect for summer days with a timeless polka dot/ vintage appeal! You can check out the dress here.
Speaking of royal-approved dresses, here’s another gem I found from their website that methinks Meghan will approve. A minimalist yellow dress with simple pleated details infront and again, POCKETS! Wear it as it is but I styled it with a straw belt here. You can buy the dress here.
Also, there is a BIG SALE happening in their site right now and you should absolutely check it out. 🙂
