As my cousin put it, “What a time to be alive for gossip-mongers in the Philippines.” 😆 She’s taking about this showbiz brouhaha that erupted weeks ago which has seemingly become something of a “national concern”. Whereas before, others would just simply shrug it off and repost the issue with the famous line “walang forever” but now it seems that lots of people were “invested” because too many, especially girls, could relate to this thing called “ghosting” in this love triangle and the savageness of it. I guess we’re all too tired of this puzzling men behaviour. But I’m not here to delve on the issue though. It’s just that discussing the said controversy with a friend introduced another millennial dating term to me which is far worse than being ghosted and that’s why I’m sharing this article below.
Dating. What is bread-crumbing? Read the article here.
Social Media. From time to time I take social media detox but here’s an account of how one did it in one full year. *inhales sharply* So, do you think you can do it?
Sustainability. Yay for San Francisco Int’l airport for banning single-use plastic water bottles. Hope others follow suit and that they implement the same for other beverages as so far it’s only for water plastic. Find out more about it here.
Fashion. While we often talk about sustainable fashion, there’s also such a thing called being ethical and thankfully it’s on the rise according to this article.
Travel. I haven’t really visited a library while on my travels (I wonder why) but love that libraries around the world are given an update. Some of them are listed here.
Tech. Have you always wanted to build a startup? How do you start? This is quite a lengthy read but so much worth it.
Entertainment. Who’s excited for a Meryl Streep and Emma Watson movie this year? Me! 🙋 I might have to re-read this classic again after finishing my current Jane Eyre. Have you seen the trailer?
And that does it for me. Happy weekend, everyone! 😊😊😊
